Studio Fall 2012
Sandra will teach an architecture studio at the Lebanese American University entitled: Harboring Infrastructures, transforming multiple waterfront sites on the Lebanese coast to ferry terminals and cultural gateways for their respective cities.
Sandra was invited to give a talk at the AA visiting school in Beirut, followed by a design session with the students.
Sandra was an invited panelist at the 2012 CIty Debates conference at the American University of Beirut- Reconceptualizing Boundaries, Urban Design in the Arab World- with a focus on ecological infrastructure.

Studio Fall 2011
Sandra will teach an architecture studio at the Lebanese American University which will rethink space of knowledge in the digital age through proposals for the national public library. The site will be located on Damascus Road.
Sandra gave a talk the 5th Critical Ecology Conference in Frankfurt Entitled: Territorial Ecologies: Tactics for the Lebanese Coastal River System.
Sandra conducted a guided walk in Beirut and a workshop- Porocity- with the Urban Strategies masterclass program in Vienna and LAU's Architecture Department in Beirut. the workshop mapped the different concepts of porosity, permeability and resilience which exist in Beirut's urban morphologies and architectural typologies.
Ode to the Sun project was selected a finalist in the Land Art Generator Initiative Competition.
Sandra gave a talk at the 46th IFLA Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. entitled: Flow Area Ratio- Ecological Strategies for the Mumbai Bay.
Sandra was an invited speaker in the Yale Arab Alumni Conference: Transnational Tides and the Furture of the Arab City, an international conference on urban sustainability held at the American University of Beirut.
Visiting Assistant Position
